Restorative Dentistry

You need restorative dentistry when a tooth or multiple teeth have been damaged or destroyed. As an example, if you’ve had many cavities in a certain tooth, the next one may make the whole, natural tooth too weak to hold up on its own. That tooth will need a crown which is kind of like a body cast for accident victims. The crown doesn’t let your tooth get weaker and supports it as you continue to use it.
